Maple Shade Farm, located in Centerville, Tennessee, specializes in naturally gaited pleasure Tennessee Walking Horses for show and pleasure riding. I hope you will take a few minutes to tour the farm and meet some of the current residents and alumni. |
First, let me introduce you to Bullet's Surefire Shaker, my best partner. He is a homegrown product of Maple Shade Farm's breeding program. |
"Located in the heart of Middle Tennessee"

Maple Shade Farm has been in my family since 1826. I am the 5th generation of my family to work this farm. My great-great grandmother hid her horse from the Yankees during the War Between the States. My great grandfather was selected as one of Tennessee's Master Farmers in 1929. My grandfather bought me my first pony when I was six years old and fed my love of horses. My father continued to work the farm up until his death in 2003 and supported my dream of raising Tennessee Walking Horses. |
Thanks for visiting Maple Shade Farm. Come back and see new additions and be sure and sign the guest book. |
My grandfather, J.W. Shouse, Sr., in the 1930's.
